Understanding how odds change over time is crucial for long-term profitability. Our Historical Odds tools allow you to visualize market sentiment and measure your performance against the closing line.

Line Movement Charts

Visualize the history of a specific prop’s odds leading up to game time.

Key Features

  • Opening Line: The initial odds set by bookmakers (usually 24 hours before the game).
  • Closing Line: The final odds at the moment the game started.
  • Movement Trend: Identify if the market is betting the “Over” or “Under” (steaming).
  • Multi-Book Comparison: Compare lines from DraftKings, FanDuel, MGM, and more on a single chart.
Generating a Line Movement chart costs 5 Credits per request.

Closing Line Value (CLV)

CLV is the gold standard for measuring a bettor’s skill. It compares the odds you bet at vs. the odds at game time.

Why CLV Matters?

If you consistently bet lines that are better than the closing line (e.g., you bet -110, and it closes at -130), you are “beating the market.” Over time, positive CLV is a strong predictor of profitability, even if individual bets lose.

Tracking CLV

  1. Place a Bet: Use the “Track Bet” button on any odds card.
  2. Wait for Game Time: The system automatically records the closing line.
  3. Analyze: Go to the My Bets page to see your CLV performance (Beat/Missed) for each bet.
